On March 10, 2021, at the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 of the TMA, a scientific and practical webinar was held with the participation of the leading reproductive specialist of the LIVhospital clinic and the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Professor Bulent Baisal (Istanbul, Turkey).
During the webinar, the professor of the department, Dr. med. Nazhmutdinova D.K. with an introductory speech, an acquaintance with the teaching staff, undergraduates and clinical residents of the TMA specializing in endocrinology took place, and the staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the TMA also took part in the webinar.
At 11:00 a lecture was held on the topic: “Assisted reproductive technologies”. This event highlighted the main causes of infertility in marriage and ways to resolve them, an active discussion took place in the form of questions and answers. Bulent Baysal in the form of a presentation spoke about the IVF technique, indications and showed cases from his clinical practice. The latest international recommendations for the treatment, management and prevention of endocrine diseases leading to infertility were presented.
